I have been involved in sport, both as a player (several years playing professional) and a coach, for over 30 years. During this time I have witnessed many changes in the various training methods applied and how various sports have evolved.
Unfortunately, one aspect that seems to get constantly overlooked is injury prevention and how athletes can aid their own recovery during injury.
This prompted me to research this area and has consequently resulted in me gaining professional qualifications from the largest awarding body for holistic therapies in the UK.
I am fully qualified as a massage therapist to I.I.H.H.T. standards. My qualifications are backed by the Vocational Training Charitable trust (V.T.C.T.).
I am a member of the International Council of Holistic Therapies (M.I.C.H.T.).
I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies (F.H.T. - membership number available on request).
